Mission
The purpose of the SOA Fashion Design Booster Club is to provide logistical and financial support to the Fashion Design department, students, and its administrators. The organization shall maintain and promote interests in the various phases of the Fashion Design major, lend volunteer services and financial support to the school’s Fashion Design programs to maintain a quality program, and cooperate with the administrators to promote overall communication and efficiency.

Faculty
Fashion Design teacher Donna Chesborough’s love of design and sewing began when she was 10 years old. She majored in fashion design in high school and continued her education at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Before graduation, at just twenty years old, Ms. Chesborough secured a position as head designer at a prominent sleepwear company and thus began a successful 20-year career as a Manhattan fashion industry designer and executive. In 2021, she was honored to join SOA and share her skills and experience with her talented and enthusiastic fashion design students.
